Receiving Feedback From Your Client

Feedback is an important part of working on myServiceConnection. Providers build a reputation of client satisfaction, while clients build a history of consistent hiring and payment. These serve as reference points for both parties when evaluating whom to work with in the future.

Feedback can only be left by past clients and providers that have worked together on myServiceConnection, so you can be confident that the work history is from legitimate experiences of other myServiceConnection members.  This is not true of many review sites, where providers can corrupt feedback authenticity by paying for positive reviews.  Because our feedback system is designed to allow only providers and clients who have worked together to provide feedback scores, this provides a 100% authentic feedback system. 

Please keep in mind that until a provider has completed a significant amount of jobs hired for, any single project feedback score will have a much bigger impact on the overall score.  One low project score does not necessarily mean a bad service provider.  Furthermore, if any given provider has little or no feedback yet, it's important to use other information to evaluate their services and possible job performance.

Individual Job Score:
Clients will provide feedback ratings for a provider (from 1 through 5) based on the criteria listed below. Each of these areas is weighted equally to arrive at a summary feedback score for a provider, ranging from 0.0 to 5.0.

  • Quality - 20%
  • Communication - 20%
  • Responsiveness - 20%
  • Service as Described - 20%
  • Professionalism - 20%

 When Can Clients Leave Feedback?:
Feedback can be left by a client from the time the job has been awarded and up to 90 days after job has been completed, as per the listed terms of the job on myServiceConnection.

Replying To a Feedback Review:
To reply to a review left by a client, log in to your My Account and follow the steps below:

  • Click on Find Work on the top navigation bar and then click My Profile.
  • Click the Feedback link under your company name and tagline.
  • Scroll down to see all your feedback. If the client has provided feedback, you will find a Respond to feedback link under their original review.

Your reply will be displayed directly under the original feedback review left by the client. Since your reply will be permanent and viewed as part of your feedback history, it is important to write professionally, especially in cases of replying to a poor review.

Can Feedback Be Removed Or Reset?
Feedback cannot be changed once posted. This is to prevent manipulation of the feedback system and to ensure that actual customer experiences are reflected accurately in the system. Only in rare situations, such as feedback that is left for the wrong provider, will myServiceConnection consider removing it.

How To Leave Feedback For The Client:
To leave feedback for your client, please log in to myServiceConnection and follow the steps below:

  • Go to My Account tab in the top navigation bar.
  • Click on the Leave Feedback link on the left-hand column.
  • Enter your feedback and comments.
